I went to the library to look for some books on garment construction to help me with my favourite part of the INP - the Garment Tech Buyers Pack.
As I am creating a range which aims to flatter and enhance curves  - and based on my questionnaire findings -  it should aim to flatter most body types, so many of my garments have details such as ruching, pleats, gathering, tie/wrap details.
I will have to know how these details will be created on the garment, so I picked up this book called 'The Perfect Fit'. As you will see from the pictures the book is quite dated, however I believe some of the construction techniques and fitting goals are still relevant.
The book displays all the different body types, shapes and variations such as wide hips, small hips, large bust, small bust etc and what the "fitting goal" will be for a certain body type in order to flatter that body and create confidence!
It explains the flattering pattern styles for each body variation and details how to amend a pattern to achieve it. I am not a designer and I haven't used a pattern since GCSE Textiles but I found the information very useful for my buyers pack.
One thing I have noticed is wide skirts, cinched waists and pleating is generally flattering for most body shapes.
