*H&M - Fibre Composition and Country of Origin comparisons

I have posted a comps shop I did to compare the Petite ranges from H&M's competitors, but I also went to H&M to look at their garment styles, fabrics, prints.

An important aspect I was interested in was the fibre compositions and Countries Of Origin. I wanted to see what fabrics H&M use to create their great quality garments and where they were being made,  I plan to take this information into consideration when creating my range.

Here are some garments and pictures of their care labels with their fibre compositions and COO.

To conclude:H&M have a lot of their garments made in China (basic or printed garments) and Turkey.
However it was interesting to see they also use a variety of other countries such as India (embellished garments), Bulgaria and Romania.
On www.HM.com it states: "H&M does not own factories, but instead buys products from independent suppliers that are close long-term partners of H&M."
Many of H&M's garments are made from fibres such as polyester, however they also use quality fibres such as cotton and linen which give their clothes a certain quality compared to New Look and allow their garments to stand the test of time by withstanding washing, pilling etc.
